Kårhuset, large villa with fjord view

The house is the former Kårhuset at Amble Gård. The house has 6 bedrooms and can house 12 people. There are three bathrooms in the house, as well as a separate toilet. The house has fully equipped kitchen, dining room with large dining table and living room with several seating areas. The living room has an open fireplace. The space Amble Gård is an old venerable farm located in Kaupanger in Sogndal municipality. The farm has been in the owner of the Heiberg family since 1690. On the farm there are 6 holiday houses for rent. In addition to tourism, we do organic production of apples and hay, forestry and hunting. Guest access As a guest in our holiday houses, you can use our rowing boats located by the Sognefjord for free. It is possible to hire a boat with an engine. We have several private mountain lakes on the property where you as a guest can fish trout for free. At one of the waters, in Sogndalsdalen about 25 km from Amble Gård, is the farm's old stall, Kokstad. Guests in our holiday homes can borrow a key for the sturgeon house at Kokstad and can use this for day trips. At Kokstad there is a rowboat that you can use on the water. At the property we have big mountain areas and great hiking opportunities. Trip descriptions and maps can be found in each house. Amble Gård is a great take off point for a family vacation. We have our own playground for children and hens and rabbits the children can greet! We have a small self-service farm shop where guests can buy our self-made apple juice and eggs from our hens
