Villa Vetleskog - Fjord Norway

Our unique and modern Villa offers a spectacular stay in the famous Fjords of Norway. The Villa is perfect for a large family, two families or a group of friends who wants to experience a comfortable stay with functional design and facilities, including a greenhouse/wintergarden and large open spaces and views. In the immediate surroundings you have unforgettable hiking and skiing, beach and Unesco World Heritage sites such as Urnes stave-church. Welcome! The space The Villa is a unique and one-of-a-kind solid wood construction. It is 550 m2 all together including double garage, greenhouse, living space and storage. The Villa is built in 2016. It is constructed for a social large family with functions to cater for many people. The greenhouse is part of the house and functions as living space at the same time - comfortable if the summer if weather is on the cold side and you still want to enjoy the light summer nights. The Villa is located on the Molllandsmarki area, accompanied by about 15 other farms, some of which are being farmed. The Villa is called Vetleskog (little forest) derived from the name of the farm and specific area. The Villa is located 580 meters above sea level, which gives great light and sun from early morning to about 20.00 pm. Winter also offers many hours with sun on sunny days. The estate has large forest areas and viewpoints in walking distance. The farm is very private and a 15 min spectacular drive from the main road. In the immediate surroundings Molden, at 1117 mask, is a highly recommended hiking trip - summer and winter. Sogn ski center is 15 min away, Sogndal ski center 40 min away. In the other direction you can see and visit Jotunheimen as well as Jostedalen with the Nigaard or Jostedal glacier. Summertime you can visit the picturesque village of Solvorn with a beach and the historic hotel Walaker hotel. Gaupne has a very nice indoor swimming resort, Lustrabadet, we highly recommend. Do not expect warm temperatures in the fjord as the melting glacier runs into the fjord. This is also what creates the special turquoise colour on the fjord. Guest access The Villa offers 5 double bedrooms, with possibility for extra sleeping in the common space. A "hems"/ small loft above the kitchen, a double bed in the greenhouse and a small double bed in the hallway between the two livingrooms. Three bathrooms, Big kitchen well suited for cooking: two ovens, large induction cooking top, french door fridge/freezer with ice-cube maker, immediate boiling water tap. Large terrace around the house. Gas barbecue outdoors. For families with children - 1 Travel bed for baby - Baby blanket - Two high chairs Other things to note The estate is a farm, and the fields may during your stay be farmed. Timing of grasscutting and fertaliser is according to the weather and can not be decided in advance. Fertaliser gives out smell for a few days. Please respect the farmers and their work, and also the animals you meet on your way to the farm. The gate to the estate must be closed at all times to keep the cows out during summer. Make sure to bring garbage to the bins on the road by the gates.
