Charming cottage located in a beautiful manor garden at the stream Hedströmmen. Perfect location for fly fishing in Hedströmmen or experience nature and culture in Bergslagen. Close to both forest and lake. 200 meters to Hedströmmen - you can both see and hear the steam from the cottage. It is five minutes by car to the child-friendly bathing area Sandviksbadet in Långsvan. In addition, there are several bathing areas and canoe trails nearby. The space The cottage is a log house from the 18th century, located as a wing building for the manor. It is carefully renovated with living room, two bedrooms, large hall, two nice bathrooms with shower and a kitchen with everything you need. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the entire house (excluding the basement), a private outdoor area with garden furniture, and the parking space. We have a remarkable 16th-century wine cellar that guests may access for an additional fee. The fee includes candlelight ambiance and table settings with glassware and other arrangements as agreed in advance. For an additional fee, guests may also use the old stable, which is rustic in style and furnished with long tables and a bar. Other things to note For hiking and excursions in forests and countryside: The house is equipped with items such as berry and mushroom baskets, a mushroom knife, a mushroom guidebook, a daypack, a thermos, mugs, cutlery, grilling skewers, plates, water bottles and sitting pads. We have four bicycles available for our guests to use free of charge – two women’s bikes and two men’s bikes. Helmets, a bike bag that can be attached to the bicycle, a bike basket, and reflective vests are also provided. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a separate building. Electric vehicle charging is available on the property.
