Description
Detached period cottage. Enclosed Garden. Crossing Cottage is the perfect place for your stay. Walking distance of the beach and the lovely town of Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast you are in easy reach of a good range of shops and restaurants, a lovely old fashioned cinema, model boating pond, golf course and much much more. Lots of good walks and cycling from the door. An ideal spot to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of busy lives. Last minute bookings sometimes possible. The space Crossing Cottage is over one hundred years old and is quietly situated by the disused railway line (now a walking trail). The cottage is detached with its own enclosed garden and off road parking for two cars - both quite rare in Aldeburgh. Warm and cosy with full central heating and two wood-burners; loads of character and fully equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. We have garden furniture and a barbeque for the summer. In the kitchen you will find a Aga Masterchef with five gas rings, two electric ovens and grill, microwave, fridge-freezer and plenty of crockery, utensils and pans for cooking at home but there are also lots of places for eating out, all within walking distance. Washing machine, tumble drier, clothes line and airer for washing. The three bedrooms sleep five people (two king and one single). Beds made up on arrival. Towels provided. We can lend you a travel cot, high chair and baby monitor if required. Guest access You will have the whole cottage and garden to yourselves. Living room, conservatory, kitchen and three bedrooms, bathroom and extra WC, enclosed rear garden and a shed for your bikes are all available for you to enjoy. We have books, DVDs and toys and outdoor toys for the children. We keep the larger shed locked to store our garden machinery in. Other things to note The cottage is on a quiet cul de sac which is privately owned. Please take care on approach as there are potholes and rough ground. Easy walk into town or to the beach: 15 minutes. EV charging at the CoOp 0.4 miles
