Your ultimate Spring and Winter weekend destination, La Fish Camp, La Fish Camp Lodge will be your dream destination. We have updated the master bedroom with a new Queen bed. We take extra care to disinfect your space and maintain at least 24 hours between bookings. Bring your flashlight and star gazing equipment. It will be awesome. This location gives the best of ALL worlds. The Country atmosphere and close to all the best eateries, nature destinations and antique shops (Ocala, Hernando, Inverness and Dunnellon) you could want. Outdoor activities at Rainbow Springs, boating, tubing, antique shops in a quaint town. La Fish Camp is on a wide canal about 200 yards from the Withalacoochee River. For the Kayakers there is a popular spring, just upstream from our location, on the Withalacoochee that can only be reached by Kayak. Bring your fishing license and fish off the dock. Bring your boat and access the river by the nearby boat slip or lakes around Hernando and nearby Inverness, Florida. Outdoor activities nearby are Rainbow Springs, boating, tubing, antique shops in a quaint town. Florida Green-way is located near-by. The Florida Green-way is available for hiking and hose back riding (non motor travel). Check out the Tubing, Kayaking and scuba opportunities on the rainbow river, just minutes away. Numerous hiking, bike and horse trails on the Florida Cross barge canal and other nature preserves, within 2-4 miles. Numerous antique shops in Dunnellon and many more within 30-45 minutes. Two public boat ramps, on the Withlacoochee river within 15 - 20 minutes. Crystal River and Yankee town on the Gulf of Mexico just 30 - 35 minutes away. Crystal River, The only place in the USA where you can swim with the manatees. Not to forget about the picturesque fishing village of Cedar Key just over an hour away on the Gulf of Mexico. Two awesome restaurants (Reds and Stump knockers) within walking distance of La Fish Camp. Guest access Private gated entrance to your personal space. Smart Lock code will be provided about a week prior to your arrival. Other things to note Dogs: Dogs (up to 70 pounds) are are welcome ($45 ADDITIONAL Cleaning fee up to (2) two dogs). Dogs must be well behaved. If left untended must be in a secure, traveling kennel. ** Maximum of Six (6) persons. Additional Fees will apply. The extra persons may be asked to leave.
