Spend wonderful days in our charming little house from 1902. Relax in a lush garden with barbecue, dining area, playground and sandbox. Idyllic at the edge of the forest, at the same time short distance to the center, the beach and the Zoo. The house has everything you need for a lovely Sørland vacation, with modern kitchen and bathroom. Bedroom 1 with large double bed and cot. Bedroom 2 with 140 cm bed. Bedroom 3 with 90 cm bed. Bedroom 4 with single bed/playroom with ribbed wall, trapeze and toys, possibly double bed in addition. The space Here you can stroll around the garden with the coffee cup in the morning and feel the sun shine on you. We have plots in the garden, where you can get both sun and longed-for shade in the heat. The grill is ready to be fired up if you want and here it is absolutely perfect to sit outside and eat. We have large vegetable beds and lots of plants, so it's a lovely garden to be in. For the children, there is a sandpit and a playground. We have two cats, and these will be home while you are there. One of them is always on the run, so there may only be one here. It is important to us that those who rent from us see that they are doing well, and refill food and water. They are calm and nice, have a cat flap and otherwise manage completely on their own. Our house is old enough to be charming and cozy, but has newer kitchens and bathrooms so it really is a modern and comfortable home. It is about 90 sqm and contains: - A spacious kitchen with all the equipment. - Living room with TV, dining table and a large sofa. Here is the old part of the house, with beams in the ceiling and low ceiling height. Here there is TV with many channels. - Three bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom with a double bed of 180×200 and a cot placed close by. Then two bedrooms with a 140 cm bed in one and a single bed in the other. Here you go through the master bedroom to get to the other two. - A playroom/bedroom on the ground floor. This is now used as a playroom, but has a single bed and can easily be turned into a bedroom with more sleeping space if we put in a double bed. - Small bathroom on the ground floor with all the necessities. Spacious shower, toilet and shelves for toiletries. There is also a dressing table on the wall. - Hallway with large cupboard. If you want to wander to the shops, Tingsaker center is only six minutes away. There is also a bus stop that takes you to Dyreparken (15 min by car)/Kristiansand/Arendal. It's not far down to Tingsaker beach for a dip. Here it is wonderfully shallow. If you take the bike down to the city center, it is a trip of only ten minutes. Guest access Here you have access to the whole house and our garden. All kitchen utensils, barbecue, toys in the playroom, soap and detergent, etc. We will provide space in kitchen cabinets, fridge, half cabinets in the hallway and dresser in the master bedroom so that you have space for your own things. On the first floor there is a cabinet that can be used inside the bedroom. Otherwise in the house we will also have clothes and things in some drawers and cabinets. It should be left alone. In the bathroom there are shelves with space for your things, we will have things in the cabinets. There is also a drying rack, in addition to a clothesline out in the woods. The laundry room is in the garage, and washing machine and powder can be used freely. There is also an outhouse on the property, but it and the garage are not available. On the other hand, there is a large parking lot with plenty of space. In the kitchen, most of the kitchen equipment can be used. Wash and put back what has been used. Other things to note We have a lovely garden and have irrigation systems on plants in front of the house. But we will be very happy if you can water the plants in the garden. With the hose at the top of the garden, and set on the spreader overnight at the bottom. If you want to water in the evening, we deduct NOK 500 from the rent. If you don't want to do it, our dear neighbor will come and water. Relax and enjoy the garden. Use furniture, barbecue and sandpit. But don't play football here, it's so easy to destroy the plants. We have a key box and are most likely not present at key takeover. But we will call you right after arrival to inform you about things we think it's okay for you to know and to answer any questions. Otherwise, we can be reached on messenger or by phone. We have two cats, and these will be home while you are there. (The orange one escapes constantly, so it's possible there's only one there. It is important to us that those who rent from us see that they are doing well, and refill food and water. They are calm and easy, have a cat flap and otherwise manage completely on their own. The grill can be used freely, be sure to clean the grill and turn off the gas after use. If you need to fill the tank, just send us a message so we can send money to fill it up. We have two bikes that you can use, as well as a bicycle trailer and a bicycle seat. Empty the fridge and garbage when you leave. Garbage cans are in the driveway. The house should be left tidy and the dishes should be washed. In addition to the rent there is a mandatory cleaning fee of NOK 2,000. Bed linen can be rented for NOK 50 per set per week.
