Spillenberg House is a historic national monument named from the 1550s after the physicians to the Hungarian monarchy, who established their ancestral home in the building. The building was redesigned from the Gothic style (remaining architectural elements can be seen on the ground floor) to the Renaissance style by the Spillenbergs.
