The house is located on a quiet rural road that receives very little traffic. The house opens onto a large deck and 5-acre meadow where you can watch birds and the occasional deer. The owners use a separate building on the property as a work studio, but they do not use the back yard and cannot be seen except from the driveway on the far side of the house. You will have sole access to the entire house, large deck, 5-acre meadow and fire pit. There is a studio located in a separate building on the property where we sometimes work. We live just a few minutes from the property and are usually available to deal with anything that comes up. We also sometimes work out of the studio located in a separate building on the property. Fleischmanns, NY is located in the heart of the Catskills, just 40 minutes Northwest of Kingston, NY, and under 3 hours from New York City. It is also about 5 minutes from Margaretville and Roxbury, and not much farther to Andes, Bovina, Delhi, Roxbury and more. We are extremely close to great hiking, kayaking, fishing, antiquing, and much more. We love animals, but we kindly request you leave yours at home. (We tried allowing dogs at another house we used to rent and got complaints from guests who had dog allergies)
