The Stables is nestled in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside between the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and the Howardian Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Just 4 miles outside the pretty market town of Helmsley and under an hour away from the diverse North Yorkshire coastline or the historic city of York If you’re looking for a relaxing get away, time with family, friends and pets, or a fun packed holiday exploring North Yorkshire, The Stables is a great place to do it The space Kitchen, Dining and Living Area With its high beamed ceilings, Travertine flooring with under floor heating and double French doors to the garden, this open plan area is fantastic for families and friends to spend time together. The fully fitted and well equipped kitchen at one end includes a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, microwave and a tall free standing freezer. The dining table comfortably seats six plus a high chair, which on arriving at The Stables will be set with fresh flowers, fruit and a Welcome Hamper for all to enjoy. The Living area is equipped with a 32” flat screen TV with free view and DVD. There is a choice of books, maps, games and DVD’s for you to select from. There are two steps leading up to the Hallway. Hallway A carpeted hall leading to the bedrooms and bathroom. There is a large storage cupboard for coats, boots and doggy stuff, including towels, throws, spare leads etc. and the hoover. Outside A secure outside lawned garden which overlooks fields and the Howardian Hills, with table and chairs for six with a parasol and gas BBQ. This former barn stands between a working farm and adjoins the owners’ home, it is set on the edge of the village of Oswaldkirk. On opening the front door you are led into the open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Bathroom A large fully tiled walk-in rainfall shower, hand basin, wc, bath and heated towel rail. Fully tiled floor with under floor heating. King Size Bedroom Can sleep up to two people. Modern and cosy bedroom with a triple wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a cosy chair and footstool. Twin Bedroom Can sleep up to four people. It has two 3ft zip and link beds which can be singles or made up to a super king size bed. In addition to this, there is a 3ft day bed with additional 3ft trundle bed. A double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and comfy chair. Guest access North Yorkshire is a very dog-friendly county, with lots of open spaces, easy walking and sandy beaches. We have set out to provide a modern, clean, comfortable and dog-friendly accommodation where our guests can holiday with as many well-behaved dogs as they wish to bring. We provide dog beds, bowls, hand made dog biscuits, throws and dog towels. There is no extra charge for you to bring your pets on holiday too! We have a games room available which is a shared space. It sleeps two in a king size bed and is a great addition should you want extended family or friends to holiday with you but who still require their own space.
