Food and Drink: The apartment is around the corner from a Vietnamese sandwich shop and gelateria (Nuri), two Italian cafes (Café In, La Saison Des Pluies), and a small gourmet grocer that specializes in craft beers but also stocks locally produced cheeses, charcuterie, breads, coffee, kombucha and other essentials (Veux-Tu Une Bière?). Within walking distance are several bakeries (Boulangerie Jarry, Le P’tit Atelier, Patisserie Lajeunesse), more cafes (Café Oui Mais Non, Le Petit Brûloir), produce stores (Fruiterie Lina, Fruiterie Forcier, Fraichement Bon!), an artisanal butcher shop (Pascal Le Boucher) and neighborhood stores offering food and beauty products from Turkey (Marché Istanbul), Haiti (Meli Melo Market), and sold in bulk / involving zero waste (Epicerie Loco) . Guest access Getting Around For public transport, the apartment is a block away from the Crémazie orange line metro station, steps to the 31 bus along St. Denis, the 55 bus along St. Laurent, as well as the 100 bus along Crémazie. A Bixi bike station is a block away, on rue de Liege and avenue de Gaspé, as are access to numerous bike paths and lanes. If you are driving, there is quick access to the Metropolitan (highway 40) and major arteries, north and south, east and west Parking A private parking spot is not provided with the apartment, but non-resident parking is available on the street at the ends of the block. You may need to find a parking spot on another block. Also, please be aware that each side of the street has a day where parking is not allowed for an hour around noon regardless of residence, for street cleaning. It is the typical Montreal parking situation. Other things to note We allow up to 6 guests, but that is meant more for a family of 2 to 4 adults, with children sharing the smaller front bedroom, rather than 6 individual adults.
