Beautiful Grade 2 Stable Barn

A beautifully refurbished, stunning ground floor apartment in the converted stable block of a Grade 2 listed property. This charming and spacious residence is located on the edge of a sleepy hamlet, 5 minutes from the pretty market town of Saffron Walden, 5 minutes from Audley End station and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport or Cambridge and Racing at Newmarket. This property is not suitable for children under the age of 10 due to very steep duckstairs or for senior guests. The space The stable Barn residence comprises of an airy open plan with its own private entrance. The double bed is up on the mezzanine level accessed by a duck stair case (incline more than traditional steps, not suitable for children under the age of 10). The sitting area includes a log burner to make it very cosy and wood is supplied. There are two sofas, one is a sofa bed with linen supplied in a wicker trunk depending on guests sleeping configuration. There is a panoramic wall mounted plasma screen with Netflix. A marble tiled shower room with WC and heated towel rail. The Barn is spacious and light and the particular attention to detail will ensure your stay is uber comfortable. The bathroom and bedroom are equipped with brand named toiletries and linen to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay. A welcoming chilled bottle of Prosseco with 2 glasses will be ready to greet you in the fridge. Guest access Guests will have access to the private drive and their own covered parking. Please park in the under cover space nearest to the barn. Strictly one car only Other things to note I hope my guests appreciate the efforts we go to in order to ensure that you have a memorable, comfortable and enjoyable stay. In regards to privacy, you are within the curtilage of our own home and while the Barn is entirely separate to the Main House, we would expect you to appreciate the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings. There are to be no additional guests at any time other than the ones booked and accepted by me.
