It is just under 5 km to the A9 motorway, 9 km to Naila for shopping (Lidl, Netto, Kaufland, DM, Deichmann, etc.), 8 km to Bad Steben (thermal baths, casino, spa park, Edeka), and 18 km to Hof. Many sights can be explored in a day trip, e.g. B. Kronach, Coburg, Kulmbach, Bayreuth, Bamberg, Regensburg, Nuremberg, Dresden, Leipzig. But also various smaller and larger lakes and dams (e.g. Bleilochtalsperre) can be reached within short distances. Schwarzenbach am Wald and Döbraberg are well suited for winter sports. The Höllental (only 3 km) with the Selbitz or the Thierbach valley will certainly fascinate you just as much as the medieval town of Lichtenberg and the many hiking trails and magical views.
