Just over an hour from London, find yourself in the heart of the English countryside with beautiful walks, the coast, and historic towns on your doorstep. Lyminge is five miles from the seaside in Hythe. It has a Chemist, Doctors' surgery, a village store, Chinese restaurant, Indian take-way, a Tea Room - which does very nice breakfasts . There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones. The space The space is ideal for couples or the solo traveller. Light and airy with a very comfortable sofa and bed and there is everything you could need in the kitchen should you wish to stay in for an evening. There is a log burner - the first basket of logs is provided together with firelighters and kindling. Handwash, shower gel and and body lotion is provided as is coffee, sugar and tea. Please note that the property is semi-detached and adjoins a second listing. Under one roof there is the Annex (one bedroom) and Fancoombe (two bedrooms). They have separate entrances, separate key lock boxes and you don't share anything with your neighbour. Both listings have their own one acre paddock, which are good for dogs. If both listings are occupied at the same time, you may bump into each other in the carparking area, but otherwise not. Guest access Your private entrance is accessed up the stairs on the decking. The field / orchard as you look out from the decking is yours for private use. However with pets in mind the fence is old and if they like 'escaping' it is possible that they can. If you turn left or right out of the gate onto Skeete Road, there are public footpaths leading to lovely walks.
