Small house in central Odense

Small house 1 km from central Odense, 900 m from HCA's House. Access to garden. Kitchen with utensils, fridge and washing machine. The space 30 m2 Guest access Shared entrance but separate house. Other things to note The width of the bed is 132 cm. The bed is not a real double bed and it is not luxurious, but it is neither hard nor soft. If you need a very soft and comfortable bed you should consider to book a hotel room. The rental is for maximum two people. If you make a reservation when it is cold (October - May), please give me a notice of at least 48 hours. The host will normally clean the house every day. If the guest wants a please-don't-disturb-day, arrangements can be made. The house is highly insulated and very tight and the water must be wiped away from the half-open bathroom every day and a draft must be made through the house to get the humidity out. Failure to follow this procedure may result in mold on the walls (particularly during winter). If you don't like frequent cleaning by your host consider to look for a place, where you do the cleaning yourself. Please also note that we do not iron bedding. Some people think that bedding which has not been ironed may be dirty. Our bedding is washed in a machine every time visitors check out, but we don't use electricity on ironing. There is no coffee machine, no toaster, no blender, no electric knife, and no micro wave oven in the house. Please do not complain when you don't find such gadgets. The fridge will be switched on when the guest arrives if the guest wishes so. This is the normal procedure unless the fridge has been switched on for another guest the same day or the day before. In our house we try to keep our electricity bill and the CO2 emissions as low as possible. It takes about an hour for the fridge to reach 5-6 degrees. Utensils in the kitchen are basic but sufficient to prepare an ordinary meal. You will find plates, forks, knives, spoons, wine glasses, ordinary glasses, a kettle, cups. pots and a frying pan. Please do not expect a gourmet kitchen. Most of the litter you leave behind will be recycled. Please leave bottles, cans, plastic and paper on the kitchen table when you leave or dump them in the bin for bottles and cans. Only paper and some plastic, which has been in contact with food, cannot be recycled. The toilet seat will be disinfected with alcohol every time a visitor has checked out. If you are two guests in the house please note that the bathroom (not the toilet) is only separated from the kitchen/living room with a wall. It has no door. The toilet is separated from the bathroom and it has a door. The bath tub is not suitable for people with disabilities or walking impaired people. Long term rental is not possible as we use the house for family and friends' visits. Maximum rental period is normally two weeks.
