The Garden Cabin

If you are looking for a hidden oasis to enjoy a romantic or relaxing break then look no further than the Garden Cabin. Built within one half of a 17th Century walled garden now known as the Garden Retreat, this cosy cabin is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life whilst still enjoying all the mod cons, including excellent wifi and bathroom. The perfect base to enjoy The Spectacular Snowdrops at Welford Park. There is a fire pit/ grill with logs and kindling available. The space The walled garden once previously grew fruit and vegetables for the main house at the top of the hill but now it provides a private, completely enclosed, tranquil space filled with lawns and trees. Garden Cabin is the perfect place from which to explore the local countryside and then return to enjoy a glass of wine under the pergola or cosy up around the fire pit overlooking the beautiful garden. If the weather isn’t kind there is a flat screen tv and well equipped kitchen to enjoy a relaxing evening before having a great nights sleep in the comfy bed. The garden is private, secure and perfect for 1 well behaved dog. There is an extra charge of £30 for your dog, payable in cash when you leave. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog when you make your booking. If there are more than 2 of you there is another traditional Potting Shed in the top half of the walled garden, also with a beautiful outside space and comfy bed. The gardens are completely separate so perfect for a social holiday in a larger group where you also want your own space Guest access There is allocated parking for one car. If you need more parking please let us know when booking. Other things to note Please note there is a 50 meter walk from the car to The Garden Cabin on uneven ground.
