Charming norwegian cabin close to Trysil and Rena

Welcome to "Dovregubben", a charming Wood cabin in the Norwegian forrest. Simple standard. If you don't bring Your own water, Water can be found in the stream that you cross when you walk from the parking. Candlelight, No electricity. Mobile phone coverage 4G. The space Charming cabin in recreational forest environment. There is a rich wildlife in the area. If you are Lucky, you might see them. There are moose, Wolves, capercaillie, grouse, fox, lynx and squirrels to name some of them. Other things to note Please read FAQ and houserules before you ask questions. FAQ: - The best way to get there is by car. You will have to walk approxamtely 150 meters into the forest from the parking to the cabin. - How to get there from the airport (OSL): take the NSB Train to RENA. Route R10 (direction Lillehammer) to Hamar. Here you change to local train directed to Røros, Your stop is RENA. This costs about 250 NOK. The trains are NOT frequent. From the train station we can drive you to the cabin upon further agreement. We charge NOK 500 per trip. - You should bring good shoes and warm clothes. - What do we have to bring?- Water (if you don't want to get fresh water from the stream outside), Food, sleeping bag, toilet paper. - Is there a toilet? Yes, an outhouse toilet. Bring our own toiletpaper. - Is there a shower? Yes, outside in the moonlight With a bucket or in the stream. - What would the temperature be inside the cabin in winter? It can be anywhere from -25C to +30C depending on the outside temperature and your ability to use the Wood stove. - Can we get lost? Yes, but there are a lot of forestroads nearby. - Is it possible to make a Campfire? No, Campfires are not allowed in Norway between 15 April and 15 September. At other times, please find you own wood, don't use firewood from the woodshed for Campfires. - You will have to pay a roadfee on Søndre Oskjølveien. Payment info located at the roadentrance. - Is it possible to og Fishing nearby? Yes, the rivers Rena and Osa is good for Fishing. You will have to buy a Fishing License at www.inatur.no.
