Tarbet Lodge is set back from the road in very quiet and peaceful surroundings where you often see wildlife including deer, otter, eagles and many other species of birds and marine. There is a lot to offer on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and the Lodge is a great base from which you can explore the area. You can go walking, kayaking, wild swimming, cycling, fishing, or sightseeing. Ardnamurchan lighthouse is the most westerly point of the UK mainland and there are many secluded beaches to enjoy. The space Tarbet Lodge offers an open plan kitchen diner/lounge area looking out over Loch Sunart. The general lighting is subdued in keeping with the warm ambience of a Scandinavian type log cabin. There are bedside lamps in every bedroom. The double bedroom has multi directional spotlights. There is a reading light in the downstairs lounge for those wishing to put their feet up and read. An additional table lamp is situated in the lounge/diner. Two wall lights in the lounge area and a wall mounted TV. Two multi directional spotlights in the kitchen/dining area. There is a decked sun porch where you can happily sit in all weather and watch the world go by. Ample parking on a gravel drive and garden space to relax. There is also seating and a fire pit in the back garden. Other things to note The latest Heatstore storage heating runs on a pre-set timer as well as having a boost function. There is a constant supply of hot water, enough for a bath, although please note that the tank does not have a large capacity. Rubbish - Green bin is for mixed plastics, metals and food and drink cartons recycling. Blue bin is for paper, card and cardboard recycling (not glass), there is a separate container for glass.
