Although you can hire an Uber driver from the BANGOR airport to the "Harvest House", you can not get an Uber ride from the "Harvest House" back to BANGOR airport or even while in Bucksport proper. (Check areas that Uber services while in Maine.) * Taxi service in Bucksport is great and is available if you're not renting a car, but if you are planning for longer excursions then a rental car is highly recommended. * PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT OUR PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES. - We have several dedicated luxury vehicles that we use to transport our guests from and to airports, we service Bangor International Airport, Portland Jet Airport, smaller airports in Bar Harbor, Augusta and a list of other private & municipal airports. TRASH - Note - please wrap all food scraps in plastic before you place into any of our trash cans inside the home or outside please. This will reduce odors and bugs! BUGS - This property is located in a rural area, with wooded areas around the home, bugs are also attracted to light sources, so please 🚫 do not leave doors open or open windows that do not have bug screens.🚫 STATE ROAD 46 - This property is conveniently located on State Road 46, it is NOT a highway! Please respect the neighborhoods' posted residential speed limit of 25 - 45 MPH! WATER DAMAGES TO THIS PROPERTY - "Passive Cooling" cools this home with breezes off of the water, however; please be sure to close or leave windows only slightly cracked while you're not at the Cottage, or if it is going to rain. Keep an eye on the weather reports for Bucksport. Water damage from the windows and skylights being left open will be an extra charge to repair any damage. 🚫 WEARING OF WET CLOTHES AND SWIM SUITS IN THE HOME IS NOT ALLOWED! 🚫 🚫 SHOES OFF OF CARPETED AREAS - 🚫 Please take your shoes off when walking on our comfortable carpeted areas.
