Mountain bikes are available for rent on request in advance. The river Dinha is less than 300 meters away, clearly audible with its waterfalls. Further along the Dinha and the river Dão there are river beaches where it is wonderful to swim. With views of the mountains, surrounded by trees and tranquility and 21 kilometers away from Viseu and 69 km from the historsiche Coimbra, the property offers all the possibilities to be active but also to relax and unwind. The Caramulo mountain range is 20 minutes away by car and is suitable for hiking, paragliding, abseiling and has a renowned vintage car museum. The Serra de Estrela is an hour's drive away, as is the sea with several fantastic beaches. Furthermore, there is a spa pool with various beauty packages within 15 minutes by car and also a 27-hole golf course within 15 minutes. The living/dining room as well as the terrace outside have fantastic views on the Serra de Estrela and the Serra da Açor. There is a large well-equipped kitchen and there is a second sitting room. Lugar do Pégo is a settlement that consists of several buildings (a main house as described here, a house, and a building with two spacious apartments). Each building at Lugar do Pego has its own amenities and private terrace (note: not fenced, not child friendly) and private entrances - the pool and a washing machine are shared with any other guests. The main house and the apartments are completely remodeled by contemporary standards and meet the highest standards of comfort and quality. Of course, there is free WiFi and there are private parking spaces. The villa is very spacious with 180 m2. Other things to note Given the height differences on the quinta and the height of the terraces that are not fenced, the villa may be less suitable for young children.
