Warm, secluded 4-bedroom, 2 story, cottage on 2 acres with private water access and beautiful wrap-around deck. Child and pet friendly! The house offers lots of separate spaces: two living rooms (both with fireplaces), two full bathrooms and a large kitchen. Have dinner inside in the bright dining area, or in the screened-in deck a few steps down from the house. Three of the four bedrooms are located on the main floor. The fourth bedroom and second bathroom are found on the lower floor. The space Large house with 4 bedrooms, two living areas, two full bathrooms and a large kitchen. The main area has a mounted AC unit for those really warm days, or you can use the ceiling or stand-up fans. The property is also fully winterized and perfect for fun in the snow. The property offers several little areas where one can retreat such as the gazebo and look-out onto the lake. Have your dinner indoors in the sunlight dining area, or nestled in the trees in the screened-in deck. Kids and adults will love the water toys which include a canoe, a kayak, two inflatable stand-up paddle boards and a pedal boat. Perfect for expeditions to the little island across from the dock or all the way across Sharbot Lake to Sharbot Lake Beach, where you will find a sandy beach, a playground, and a cute little coffee shop/ice cream parlor. The cottage also has life jackets for adults and children and toys like shovels and buckets for a day of play in the water. The area is rich in wildlife and you may very likely get to see the family of beavers, turtles and loons that live in the bay. There is also a wild turkey that makes an appearance from time to time to everyone's delight. The water next to the dock is shallow and forms a natural pool for any little ones - including four-legged friends - wanting to splash about. You will have everything you need to cook and make yourself at home, including condiments, spices, pots and pans, small appliances, and knives that are actually sharp! Linens will be provided. The water to the cottage comes from an underground potable water well. Perfect for families! Fully equipped for young children with high chairs, bunk bed with safety railings, a pack 'n' play which can be used as a crib, puzzles, kids books, kids games and adult board games. Pets allowed but please keep them off the furniture. Internet available through hotspot via a Rogers hub stick. About us: We own this property along with another family. Altogether, we have 3 kids and 1 pet. We are based in Toronto and will only be available to assist you remotely. Guest access Located right off Highway 7. Will need to drive on a gravel road for a few minutes. Parking available for 4 cars. Other things to note Accessibility: One step to access the main floor. Water can be accessed through steps, or through a hill that runs down from the road (but somewhat steep).
