Description
We are located close to the Peak District, with Chatsworth House not far away. It is surrounded by Oakerthrope Nature Reserve and is perfect for those wanting to explore Derbyshire. We live next door and there are friendly cats and a dog that live on the property. *please note Hot Tub needs to be booked BY THE GUEST DIRECTLY with ‘Midland Hot Tub Hire’ for price, to arrive at the property the day before arrival to be filled and heated by host. EV charger available payable to owners please. The space First floor Bedroom 1 single bed (sleeps 1) Bedroom 2 king size bed (sleeps 2) Double bed en-suite shower room (sleeps 2) Family bathroom Second floor (attic) Twin bedded family room plus king sized bed (sleeps 4) Please note to gain access to the attic family bedroom guests have to WALK THROUGH the double en-suite bedroom. There is a downstairs loo and utility room with washer and dryer. Ground floor First lounge area, wood burning stove (logs provided for first night with fire starter) if you need more for subsequent nights it is £10 per basket payable to host, TV and a dining table to seat 8 Second lounge area TV and wood burning stove ( logs as above) Kitchen induction hob Electric oven Dishwasher - tablets provided Heating is oil fired and set to come on morning afternoon and evening. Outdoor chair cushions are situated in the wardrobe in bedroom 2 These are only showerproof so please return under carport in the evening/inclement weather We are on septic tank so nothing other than tissue flushed down the loo (no cotton buds, wipes of any description, sanitary products etc, should NOT be flushed down the toilet and must be placed in the bins provided and emptied by guests on departure). If guests block the drains (which is rare if guidance is followed above) it is messy and unpleasant and a charge will be made to unblock them. A BBQ is available to use but guests need to provide charcoal etc and clean after use please. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the garden and seating (cushions in bedroom 2 wardrobe for garden furniture) please place under carport port after use as these are showerproof only and if left out overnight will get damp.
