The Bothy is a delightful newly rebuilt and refurbished two-double bedroom cottage on the Standen Estate with a large open plan living area, folding glass patio doors to a full balcony covering the entire southern elevation with views over the North Wessex Downs. Unfortunately it is not suitable for young children. The space The Bothy is newly refurbished holiday cottage, finished in 2018. It has a 475 sq ft living room, including a luxury kitchen. The south facing kitchen/living area opens out onto an 150 sq ft balcony with views over farmland and the North Wessex Downs. We are in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. There are 2 double beds (one king and one double). The bathroom has a separate shower and bath. There is ample parking next door to the property. The property is all on one level except for two small steps up to the front door. The Bothy has been set up with the usual amenities such as Wifi, a washer/dryer an iron. There is a log burner in the living room and a wood supply readily available. On arrival guests receive a starter supply of milk, bread, butter and coffee/ tea. The Bothy is ideal for a quiet weekend getaway or longer-term mid-week bookings if you work locally and need accommodation. It is not suitable for young children.
