Hideaway, private hot tub, steam sauna & wood-burning stove

The cottage is located in the “Bothkamper See” nature reserve. It offers an outdoor hot tub, shower with nature view, steam sauna, wood-burning stove, terrace, XXL couch and super king size bed, fully equipped kitchen, ice maker, Bluetooth music system, record player, Wi-Fi, 2 x BBQ area, bicycles, home office, 2 x spa, private cinema, giant swing, fireplace, swimming area, wood chopper and much more. Our restaurant "Hof Bissee" with regional cuisine and breakfast (5 min walk). The space Slowing down, fresh air, nature and a private spa with steam sauna and hot tub, good food, a lot of peace, some adventure, that's what awaits you in our cottage... The cottage is decorated in country boho style, and much of the furniture is made from the wood we recycled during the renovation. The small kitchen offers space for everything you want to conjure up on the stove. Here you can cook on gas and in copper pots. Or you can use one of the two BBQ areas with a swivel grill and A La Plancha grill plate, dining table, armchairs and fire pit for a cozy evening by the campfire. BBQ equipment is hanging on the door of your cottage. Our country inn "Hof Bissee" with fine cuisine is a 5-minute walk away. There, you can also sign up for breakfast. Fresh eggs from Farmer Hamann and real country milk from Farmer Horst are also available in Bissee. Firewood for the stove is available in the forest. Or you can chop your own wood there in the wood storage or directly at the cottage if you feel like physical exercise. The outdoor bathtub is supplied with hot water, so you can enjoy the view from the warm tub of your wooden terrace into the great outdoors or the starry sky. Deer, sea eagles, wild geese and ducks are your only bathers. If it's too cold for you to bathe in the open air, enjoy the view of the countryside while you stand under the shower, which has more than enough space for two. Or you can start your private steam bath, which is integrated into the shower, and do a few sauna sessions - also with a view of the Griebenmoor. In summer, we recommend cooling off in Lake Bothkamp, which borders directly on our property. Towel over your shoulder, a cold drink on ice in the tin bucket, and swimming in the lake becomes a real experience. The swimming area is 150 m from your cabin. Borrow the two bikes, of course free of charge, and take a bike tour through the beautiful landscape of Schleswig-Holstein Switzerland. Discover the 36,000 square meter property, pick fruit from the trees and bushes or collect the wild herbs – e.g. for dinner, lie down on the giant swing on the edge of the forest and let your mind wander, or chill out in the hammocks. Listen to music from the turntable, play a board game or read a book while the fire burns in the oven. Disconnect and listen outside to the sound of the wind and the calls of cranes and wild geese. When you have finished your exhausting day, lie down in the 200 cm x 220 cm bed - equipped with a luxury mattress - and take a nap. In summer as well as in winter you can relax here in many ways. Recreation, private wellness or physical exercise - everything is possible ... Guest access You have your half of the house completely to yourself with a private terrace, outdoor bathtub and steam bath in your shower overlooking the moor. Next door, there may be other interesting guests, but you don't have to interact with them if you don't want to. The property has two BBQ areas, one of which is always available to you. Choose a free one and enjoy the time in the garden. Other things to note Depending on the weather, you should have swimwear, sunscreen or mosquito spray with you. Although there is a mosquito net in the bedroom, outside the mosquitoes can become intrusive when the sun sets. For fall and winter, we recommend rubber boots and a rain jacket so that you can explore nature even in the wet season before you sit down by the cozy warm stove. You can reach us either by train (Bordesholm station) and taxi (about 7 minutes) or by your own car. Since the house is located on a dirt road, arriving with a sports car or other lower-lying cars is rather difficult. Access by car is via Bissee/Bothkamper Weg.
