The Red Buoy is an idyllic sunny beach apartment attached to a Victorian slate house right on Porthcothan beach. This beautiful beach has sand dunes, caves, rock pools, surfing and is fantastic for swimming and fishing. The coastal path runs right past the end of the garden with wonderful cliff walks, stunning views and great birdwatching. This apartment has whitewashed wooden walls throughout. The kitchen and bathroom have a conservatory roof and are very light and sunny. The kitchen shelves and work surfaces are hand crafted from hardwoods washed up on Cornish beaches. The double bedroom is like a ships cabin, with a lot of cupboard space and an ensuite bathroom (shower, basin and WC). The living room has a futon bed, armchair, table and four chairs, oil heater, maps, books and games. It has DVD/CD and wireless broadband. The entrance is through its own private garden with a washing line, table and chairs, access to a laundry room, telephone and the local shop. Sun Decks: The kitchen has a wooden deck just outside the door where you can eat at a table a chairs provided. There is another wooden deck with a door onto it from the bedroom, a suntrap in the afternoon.
