Yellow Sweetie at the Base of Stratton

Our adorable home, The Yellow Sweetie, is located in a convenient setting at the base of Stratton Mountain, just 1 minute to the Stratton Resort access road and 8 mins to the slopes. Explore Vermont's many historic towns with classic architecture and covered bridges, as well as its breathtaking mountains, rivers and lakes. The Yellow Sweetie offers stylish country living-meets-shabby chic comfort and coziness. Escape to the fresh Vermont mountain air where life feels a little bit simpler! The space Our vacation home is children and pet-friendly. Sleeps 4 people, but if you add in the pull-out sofa, then 6. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed. The house has two full bathrooms - one up and one down. The Yellow Sweetie is outfitted with all the comforts of home, including a large cook stove, speedy wifi, a smart streaming TV, a DVD player and DVDs, a washer and dryer, a standing shower and even a clawfoot tub! Guest access Guests and their pets have access to the entire house, and will have the place all to themselves. Any pets that stay must be housebroken. Please be sure to clean up after your furry friends in the yard. No smoking inside, and please, no cigarette butts/litter in the yard. Other things to note *The fireplace is NOT functional at this time, which is why we recently removed it as an amenity on Airbnb. Please do NOT use it. The home is heated with oil/forced hot air and will get very toasty quickly by adjusting the thermostat. Please adjust the heat down to 55 degrees before leaving. There is a space heater in place of the fireplace. Please make sure it is unplugged when not in use. There is also a fire pit outside for your use, but please do NOT move it close to the house or to the deck.
