This accommodation is located in the country side, close to Sighetu Marmatiei city. You'll have all the privacy that you need. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. The space The region has a lot to offer. The northwestern Romanian region of Maramures is home to many villages where century-old traditions are still part of daily life. The inhabitants of this area have preserved, to an amazing extent, the rural culture and crafts of their Dacian ancestors. Maramures villages are distinguished by their unique wooden churches with tall spires and shingled roofs, mythological richness, impressive landscapes and very ancient customs. From my place you have only 3 km to Barsana Monastery(It is among the highest wooden buildings in Europe), 13 km to swim in Ocna Sugatag therapeutic saltwater spa, 20 km to Sighetu Marmatiei where you can learn about Romania's 45 years under communism at the Victims of Communism Memorial Museum , 39 km to Sapanta, Cimiturul Vesel (happy cemetery) , and 42 km to Viseu de Sus, where you can enjoy a trip with Mocanita(Steam Train) and visit Natural Montanian Rezervation Retezatu. The kitchen is equipped for self - catering, it has a microwave, Espresso machine, dishes and a fridge. Free & safe parking. During your stay My parents live in the house. I help them with their bookings and AirBnb page. Please note that my parents do not speak English.They speak a little Italian. I know this might sound a bit challenging, but their hospitality will definitely break any language barrier.
