House by the beach on the Bjäre peninsula

Charming old house by the sea in Kattvik on the Bjäre peninsula (aka the Tuscany of Sweden). Eat local produce, take hikes, watch birds and enjoy the calmness. The space This is one of the oldest and best preserved houses of Kattvik, the little fishing port on the north side of the Bjäre peninsula. Two bedrooms with three to four beds (and a spare one too), an airy living room with a panorama view of the bay and an old dining table made for conversations with friends. During summer season, an additional bedroom is available on the attic. The bathroom is situated in the basement, and the washing machine in the house next door. Surrounding the house is one of few seaside gardens on the peninsula, with lots of perennial flowers, old fruit trees, several nice spots for reading or relaxing and a beautiful stone beach. The house is perfect for tow adults with guests looking for a place to unwind, get offline, take long walks, go biking, play golf, enjoy tennis, go bird watching at the nearby Hovs Hallar national park or if you just need a quiet place to write. Two minutes away, literally, is one of the oldest fishing ports of the Bjäre Peninsula, where fishermen leave the dock every morning and where kids catch crabs during the afternoon. There's also a small dock for the one looking for that very Swedish thing that is the morning dip. Several trails for exploring Bjäre Penisula, aka the Tuscany of Sweden, starts by the harbor. Wishing a few kilometers, there's a handful of golf courses, galleries, lots of restaurants and an increasing number of local producers selling everything from vegetables to their own oils, chickens and crisps. Guest access You'll have the house by yourself, but might share the garden with our neighbors sometimes, although they are mostly on the other side of their house.
