Microbrewery TAP bar 5 mins away. Relaxed couple hosts, friendly atmosphere home from home with all amenities. The space Suited for both couples or single guests as we dress the room accordingly- room rate the same. Free parking outside the house with no restrictions/permits - unlike many in the area. Perfect if touring with motorbike/s as we have secure gated access road at rear of property with available large locked garage for overnight security. House with original features, fully refurbished with modern clean interior. Award winning landscaped garden with feature lighting. Large airy room has view over garden in quiet neighbourhood. Clean towels and Egyptian cotton bed linen for comfortable sleep, hairdryer, USB charging points, wardrobe, chest of drawers, wall mirror, tea & coffee making facilities, large wall mounted TV with 100+ channels. Fast reliable Fibre WiFi with coverage to whole house & garden. Large dining area indoors and multiple choice of outdoor eating areas including large garden pergola area with recliner chairs to relax and catch evening sun. Full central heating throughout for cooler nights. Luggage scales available to use and printer on request in order to print important documents. Anything you need is never any trouble and if not listed here just ask! Southend Airport (SEN) pick-up and/or drop off available between 07.00 - 19.00 hrs for £6 each way to drop off point or +£3 to inner car park area. Outside these hours by arrangement. Ideally 1 person with check in luggage or 2 with hand luggage (as small car!) - just message to ask/confirm. No problem leaving vehicles (even car keys - one less thing to misplace/lose) with us over duration of travels. There are buses and trains that run to/from the airport close to us with a short walkable journey from stops to the house or there are plenty of taxi companies in the area servicing the airport - fare £8/9 to drop off point or +£3 to inner car park area. Again just ask and we can advise on your preference. House available for rent from mid December to mid January 2021 for 1 month block booking, great for visiting family in the area for Xmas or using for travel from Southend Airport (message to discuss). Nearby local businesses include Keymed, Customs & Excise, University of Essex and close to Southend Hospital if visiting relatives. Guest access Guests have own key with separate well lit access to house. Shared kitchen with all facilities (not available from Oct-Dec currently due to Covid-19) and adjacent spacious dining room for eating/using computer/working/studying and/or different areas in garden can be used with outside table and chairs. Large wall mounted TV with 100+ channels, WiFi, USB charging points, tea & coffee, kettle & hairdryer in room. Shared bathroom with large luxury walk-in shower - no step. Areas only shared with hosts as no other guests in house. Access and use of laundry/drying room/iron & board. Washing machine/dryer use - additional fee of £5. Luggage drop off/storage not a problem if early check in or after check out time. During your stay Available for check-in and as and when needed but will leave you to your own space and privacy we are however on premises if needed. Menus for local area available in room - (wide variety within walkable distance of almost every nationality). Hosts very approachable and more than happy to give directions/supply any information/give advice on anything you need in and around the local area - please just ask. Other things to note New carpets throughout the house - guests are requested to remove outdoor footwear on arrival. Although some shared areas your privacy is respected. Please use our dining room/outside areas if food has been prepared/cooked in the kitchen or brought in. If you arrive early before our check-in time of 1pm, bags can be dropped off and you're more than welcome to relax in the garden or explore the area. Bags can also be left after our check out if leaving later - either way, bags are secure within the house. We're very flexible - just let us know your plans and we're sure we can accommodate.
