Lovely cozy houseboat Rembrandt, old centre Leiden

Lovely modern houseboat in the middle of the old centre but in a quiet spot with everything nearby. 240 m3 indoor space (16x5x3 with partly high ceiling 3.25 m.) Lovely outdoor terrace, 24 m2. Opposite the studio of famous Rembrandt, authentic wooden mill, wooden bridge and historic ships. Many museums, shops, railway station, boat-cruise on the canals, plenty of restaurants and cafes at walking distance. Paid parking. For academics, business-people and tourists. Please read the reviews. The space Living room with great view on the studio of Rembrandt, the mill, historic ships, the 17th century city carpentry and the wooden bridge. You can use the fully equipped new kitchen or go out for dinner. Master bedroom, shower and two toilets. (Please only use toiletpaper because of the sewage pumpsystem). The houseboat has 240 m3 of indoor space and a surface of 80 m2. Also available is a terrace boat (24 m2) along side the houseboat, where you can sit outside and enjoy sunrise, sunset, the wooden mill and wooden bridge and the steal ships. Whilst enjoying passing boats, you can drink a glass of wine or have your breakfast, lunch or dinner, in the houseboat or on the terrace boat. The houseboat makes you feel free and happy. You will definitely have a unique experience. Guest access You have access to spaces on the houseboat. There are no immediate neighbors. So no direct neighbourly noise. During your stay Upon arrival I (Jane) or my dear sister Sita will welcome you. You will get a short explanation about how everything works in the houseboat (20 min. or shorter). And we agree upon necessaries, like garbage, mail, cleaning etc. You can find leaflets with activities and tourist information on the table, but if you wish, I can provide you with more and specific tourist information. After our first meet up, you can enjoy your stay. I want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Other things to note The houseboat has an own sewage pumpsystem, therefore only use toiletpaper in the toilet and nothing else. You can go to the famous Frisian Bakery to buy fresh bread, croissant or Frisian sugar bread. It's a 3 minute walk. The supermarket is a 10 min. walk. There are 2 shops nearby with biological products, food and non-food. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe's. Have fun in the city: cinema, dancing and shopping. If you wish I can provide you with information. Parking is no problem, carpark Centrum Morspoort (6 min, €2,30 ph, €12, per 24 h. Carpark Haagweg with free shuttle service (6 min, ) €4,50 ph-€21 per 24h. Parking in the street costs €20 ( only a daycard is possible). Exterior camera -safety There is 1 exterior camera mounted outside, facing the private entrance and dock. No audio is recorded. The camera is active from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
