The space At the new Wenatchee Wine & Ski House, you can skip the cramped hotel rooms and keep your family together under the same roof. Shopping and restaurants are close by, and some of the area’s best golf courses and wineries are under a 5-minute drive away. At just 20 minutes away, you’ll reach the Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort, awarded by Trip Advisor as “Favorite Places to Ski with Kids.” Cross the bridge to Riverfront Park for a day at the Farmer’s Market or rent bikes and ride along the 10-mile paved Apple Capital Loop trail. Feeling adventurous? Head out on the water for kayaking or fishing on the Columbia River – just head to the bottom of our hill for a beautiful new beach and boat launch. At the end of the cul-de-sac, you’ll find our 2-story, split-level home with spacious driveway. Your fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, with seating for 8 at the dining table and an additional 4 at the kitchen island. You’ll love the oversized leather sectional in our living room upstairs, and brand new sofa bed in the family room downstairs. Enjoy all the conveniences of your own home, such as cable TV, an extensive DVD library and Xbox for the kids, and a brand new washer and dryer in your own private laundry room – detergent included! Your family and friends will love the privacy of the 3 bedrooms, each with their own cable TV. On those hot Wenatchee days, you’ll stay cool with central air conditioning. And when the sun goes down, pour yourself a glass of wine and take it to the hot tub or to our comfy outdoor lounge furniture under the covered deck just off the kitchen. You’ll also appreciate our fully fenced yard for relaxing with your dog. And if you must work during your vacation, the free, secure Wi-Fi should help you stay connected. Other things to note The new Wenatchee Wine & Ski House is a privately-owned residence by the Bathum Family in Seattle, Washington. Clark, Melissa, their 12-year-old son Marcus, and their 2-year-old Corgi Sam have been coming to the Wenatchee and Leavenworth areas for years to vacation. Avid skiers, they hit the slopes regularly as a family, so this was the perfect place to call their second home during the winter months. When the sun is out, they love spending their days on the water – tubing down the Wenatchee River, or kayaking on the Columbia River – the options for keeping cool are endless!
