Elbe Riverside Lodge

We offer you 2 rooms (living room and bedroom), which go off from the large living room with cooking facilities. The bathroom is simply equipped and has a shower and bathtub. The whole thing is located on a farm directly on the Elbe. The extensive landscapes offer ideal conditions for cycling and water sports, long hikes or horseback rides. Ideal for nature lovers! The space The farmhouse is basic but very cozy. It is located directly on the Elbe river road in the middle of the village. Looking out the window, you have a unique view over the Elbe on wide landscapes and forests. The sunrises inspire early risers again and again! Unless the sky is cloudy... ; ) In our experience, guests with more bourgeois comfort and cleanliness requirements are better off in other houses. For example, two antique enamel bowls are available for washing dishes instead of an integrated sink. Of course, bed linen and towels are cooked and all rooms disinfected. But we'd rather leave the church in the village... ; ) It is not important for us to have as many guests as possible, but the right ones! Feel free to communicate your needs with us. We are generally open to constructive suggestions. For us, the love of nature is in the foreground. This means that a swallow can sometimes get lost in the house. What a mess... And yes, occasionally deer appear in the garden to eat vegetables or roses. Cheeky beasts! We rarely mow the lawn. That's why we have a lot of biodiversity here... Sea eagles, beavers and other partially rare species can be observed here depending on the season. Feel free to ask about our tours! We are certified nature and landscape guides in the Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve. If you are more than 3 people, ask about our options. Feel free to stay a few days longer! Guest access There is a separate entrance from Elbuferstraße. Parking is available on the courtyard. Other things to note We welcome nature-loving and environmentally conscious people who share our love for the earth! Should fit somehow... ; ) Optionally, we will be happy to show you interesting river sections by canoe or kayak. For example, Biber tours. We lead hikes through the beautiful landscapes of the Elbe valley and explain them. The Wendland also invites you to long rides. Guest horses can also be accommodated at another of our locations. There you can stay in tiny houses (skylight wagons, etc.). We work with partner companies in the region. We are also happy to arrange other certified nature and landscape guides and their offers on request. Since we are mainly active in the horse, agriculture and environmental protection, we actually need "48-hour days". If we are not always able to respond right away, we ask for your patience!
