Charming Bungalow Perfect for Peaceful Getaway

Cothelstone Farm encompasses 160 acres of hayfields and forest on the western slopes of the Appalachian Mountains in the heart of Preston County, WV. This private and secluded retreat space is perfect for escaping the busyness of life and relaxing in natural beauty. There are approximately 5 miles of marked hiking trails, a running stream, a large stocked pond for recreation and fishing and many woodlands to explore. Evenings bring starlite, quiet and rest. Pets welcome! The space Our farm is remote yet accessible. Alpine Lake, Deep Creek Lake and Oakland, MD are all within 30 minutes. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore all 160 acres including ponds, stream, and forest while respecting the privacy of any other guests on the property. Other things to note There are horses on the property that graze in different areas. If you see a gate closed please close it behind you when you come and go. There are fish in all ponds but it is catch and release only. Please note: the bungalow does not have air conditioning (do have fans), wifi (can use data) or cable TV (DVD player only) but most guests find they do not need these amenities. The pond is shared by one other guest residence on the property.
