Mirabelle Cottage on the Suffolk Coast

Mirabelle is a charming, recently modernised two bedroom mid terrace holiday cottage in the centre of the village conservation area, sleeping up to four guests comfortably and is a perfect location for exploring the Suffolk Coast and historic sites like Framlingham and Orford Castles, Sutton Hoo and Snape Maltings. It's a great area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, with the magnificent Minsmere RSPB reserve just 8 miles away. Pet friendly (two dogs allowed). The space Mirabelle is an 18th century (fully modernised) cottage and there are some beams in the ceilings. The lowest point of internal doors/beams is 5’ 11’ (180.34 cm). It is in a rural village setting and has views to the rear over open fields. Entrance Porch/Cloakroom The entrance is at the front of the property via the parking space. There are two small steps up into the entrance porch with cloakroom to the left with basin and WC. Living / Dining Room is a spacious, character rich room with windows facing the front of the cottage and south facing back garden. There are two, two seater sofas, a convenient, traditional coal – effect gas stove, coffee table, smart TV and round dining table for four guests. Kitchen There is a small step from the living room to the well equipped kitchen with door to the back garden. Facilities include a microwave, fan oven with grill, four ring gas hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. First Floor The first floor is accessed by the wide stairs rising through a doorway in the living dining room. There is a very large walk-in cupboard on the landing which has plenty of hanging/storage space for everyone and iron and ironing board storage. Twin bedroom located overlooking the front of the cottage, with two handmade single beds, bedside table and chest of drawers. Double Bedroom overlooking the back garden and meadows beyond, this room benefits from a double bed with bedside tables and chest of drawers. This room is conveniently located next to the family bathroom. Bathroom The small but convenient bathroom has a standard bath, shower over, basin and WC and blinds on the window. Outside Off road parking is to the front of the cottage for one car and there is additional free roadside parking. Please ask if you would like additional parking at the rear. The south facing, small, enclosed garden has a patio with garden furniture for 4, and lawn and flower containers. It overlooks the meadows beyond. Large windows open on to the patio area from the living room. Please kindly note that it is not permitted to charge electric vehicles via a lead from the cottage. If you need help on EV chargers or there is an emergency don't hesitate to contact the hosts. Please note that Brookside is next door. See photos - it is the dark yellow house. Brookside is an end terrace cottage with a slightly bigger garden and kitchen. It also has a separate bath and shower in the family bathroom. Brookside and Mirabelle can be rented together through Airbnb. Guest access You will be able to access the entire cottage and small enclosed garden with patio to the rear. Other things to note Pet friendly - up to two pets. Please no smoking or vaping inside the cottage and please don't charge electric vehicles of any type off the mains in the cottage.
