Just 35 minutes outside Karlstad, in an idyllic setting with beautiful views of Lake Värmeln, lies this holiday home with its own swimming area, large garden, and direct access to Värmland's fantastic nature. We also have 2 SUPs, an older kayak, and an Askeladden for rent. Additionally, 2 mountain bikes and a bicycle are available. The space Idyllic Cottage by Lake Värmeln with Private Beach Welcome to our beloved cottage by Lake Värmeln! Here, you can enjoy a relaxing stay in a rural setting. The cottage is located right in the forest, with direct access to the lake and its own private beach just a few meters from the large garden. Accommodation: Two Bedrooms: The cottage has a master bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds. Loft: The loft features a sofa bed that comfortably accommodates two people. There’s also a desk, perfect for those who work remotely. Surroundings: The cottage is secluded on the outskirts of a cozy village, surrounded by beautiful nature. The nearest neighbors are about 400 meters away, so you can enjoy peace and quiet. Enjoy nature walks, swim in the lake, pick berries and mushrooms, or explore the winding forest and dirt roads by bike. For water enthusiasts, paddleboarding (SUP) or kayaking is available for rent. We also have a small boat for rent. Fishing permits can be purchased digitally. The wild nature of Värmland - here you can find many wild anmials such as boars, moose, deer, but also lynx, bear, wolf, and beaver. The animals are shy, but sometimes you might be lucky enough to see an osprey catch a fish in the lake or a sea eagle soaring on the updrafts. Nearby Towns: Explore the nearby towns of Karlstad, Sunne, and Arvika. In the beautiful city Karlstad, you’ll find restaurants, shopping, cinemas, a well-known theater, and various other activities. Arvika is an idyllic small town with many cultural attractions, while Sunne boasts one of Sweden’s best SPA hotels, a water park, and a beautiful golf course. The bathroom has a shower, and the fully equipped modern kitchen includes a wood-burning iron stove. There is a large and airy living room with a corner sofa, smart TV, fireplace, and dining table. Broadband/Wi-Fi is also available. In the loft, there is a sofa bed for 2 as well as a desk. Note - the stairs are steep and narrow, but there are handrails. Facing the lake on the southwest side, there is a large veranda with a fantastic view of the lake. Other things to note Perfect for the group or family that find the countryside cozy and enjoyable. The surroundings are idyllic with everything you possibly could ask for.
