In the centre of the beautiful village on the Essex-Suffolk border. You’ll love staying in a medieval house in the heart of Constable country, above the picturesque former post office. The village is in the heart of the Stour Valley Area of Natural Beauty, and is surrounded by the River Stour. Self contained, private accommodation, you'll have the entire annexe to yourself, with two bedrooms, a living/dining area, bathroom and fantastic views of the village. The space The living room / kitchen comes with an induction hob, electric oven, microwave with grill and dishwasher. Guest access Guests can use the outdoor swimming pool, which is heated in season. (Generally May - Sept ... please enquire.) Guests are also welcome to use the garden at any time. Other things to note The Anchor pub is 100 yards down the road - enjoy a drink or meal on the banks of the River Stour! There's also a highly-regarded delicatessen and coffee shop serving breakfast and light-lunches which is just a two-minute walk away. In Stoke-by-Nayland - just 5 minutes by car - enjoy fine dining at either the Angel or Crown Inn.
