On the Cliff Top overlooking sea

The guest cottage is part of Ingleston House land and gardens, and is embedded in nature. A peaceful and secluded location with no noise, just the wind and the waves to keep you company. The cottage is perfect if you are looking for a place for retreat, tranquillity and peace. We are situated right on the edge of the cliff, with beautiful sunsets over the sea. We have beds for 9 people, but unless you are a Family or close group we recommend not more than 6 people to share the cottage. The space Ingleston House is the home of Gila, Klemens and Anne. All the rooms in the cottage are simple in their décor but very warm, friendly, bright and with a very individual, special atmosphere. Much of the woodwork on site was hand-built by Klemens in the wood workshop next door. The garden area for our guests includes a dining table and benches – the space is secluded, but the area is occasionally used by Gila, Anne or myself as it is the main point of access to the garden shed, our herb patch and the cliff. There is a small meditation house on site that you are welcome to use, which is shared with the family in the main house. The cottage is only a 7 minute drive away from the beautiful beaches on the South-West side of the Island. Chale is also the perfect starting point for a circular walk across the Downs. Guest access There is a large parking space on site which is free to use. Other things to note The cottage does not have Wi-Fi. There is mobile phone reception, 4G. Wi-Fi is only available by arrangement for limited periods. There are no special safety precautions for smaller children. There are stairs, ladders to galleries in several rooms. Parents take responsibility for the safety of their children.
