Spire House is a large stylish 18th Century, Grade II listed town house. Located in the heart of the city of Salisbury and just a short walk from the Cathedral, museums, theatres and restaurants. The house has gorgeous views of the Cathedral and facing onto the ancient Close wall. We have a larger than average city garden, completely walled and very safe. I have a passion for interior decor and have enjoyed creating an attractive relaxing home for our guests. The property consists of; 1 large kitchen diner, utility room, dining room, walled garden,TV room, drawing room (with a view of the Cathedral Spire through the beautiful oriel window.) Two well proportioned double en-suite bedrooms (one has a four poster bed and one with an additional day bed) another good sized en-suite triple bedroom (3 x single beds). We also have a top quality sofa bed. All rooms benefit from TV/Radios, free super fast Wifi, hairdryers, en suite bathrooms, clean fluffy towels and complementary toiletries. Free super fast speed WiFi is available throughout the house, Sky Glass TV in sitting room. Free virtual visitors parking permit for up to 3 cars (allows parking in the resident’s car park, in the residents zone opposite to the house and nearby street parking). Spire House is less than a minutes’ walk from the Cathedral Close it is an ideal location for visiting one of Britain's finest medieval Cathedrals, which has the tallest spire in England. We are also perfectly situated for visiting Stonehenge which is just 8 miles north of Salisbury. GROUND FLOOR: Kitchen: Large open plan fully equipped brand new oak kitchen with centre ‘island’, dishwasher, fridge freezer, range cooker with hood, Nespresso coffee machine really everything you need. The french doors lead into the garden. Garden: Larger than average (approx 8000 sq ft) very safe completely walled garden with patio, BBQ, large table with parasol, plenty of seating and additional tables, double rocking chair, loungers etc.. Breakfast Room: Good sized room with large kitchen table and seating for up to 10 people, sofa and chair. Utility Room: Downstairs toilet, sink.washer dryer.. TV Room: Cosy TV room with seating for up to 10 large screen (65inch) TV with Sky Glass, 2 large sofas, fabric chair, leather chair and coffee table. FIRST FLOOR: Drawing Room: Large beautiful drawing room with fantastic views of Salisbury Cathedral spire through the stunning Oriel window! 1 x 2 seater sofa, 2 x 3 seater sofas (one is a sofa bed), 2 x individual chairs . Sophisticated Double Bedroom (en suite): A large tasteful bedroom with four poster bed, en suite bathroom, dressing table, and the gorgeous wallpaper you come to expect when staying at Spire House. A Double/Triple Bedroom (en suite) Another fully furnished double/triple bedroom with new Scandinavian style bed, en suite shower room, day bed and great view of the spire. This is a romantic room for two, but is also great for small families, or friends sharing. Quirky Triple Bedroom (en suite): The quirky triple is great for groups or teenagers travelling with their family. This bedroom has 3 single beds, an en suite shower room. The decor is fun and suits a variety of guests. All bedrooms benefit from TV/Radios with Freeview, free Wifi, hairdryers, en suite bathrooms, clean fluffy towels and complementary toiletries. Guest access The house and garden are all yours to enjoy during your stay. Other things to note We have recently had several bookings from groups of ladies (no men yet) and with these bookings in mind I have negotiated a 10% discount at a nearby spa. The treatments at Vita Spa are really fabulous. Our guests receive a 50% at the wonderful Salisbury Museum.
