The Ndoro Cottage with use of a Natural Pool.

The Ndoro Cottage has a cozy 'home from home feeling'. It has its own private, south facing garden with stunning views and plenty of wildlife. Deer stroll across the fields whilst you enjoy your morning coffee or your evening drink. The Ndoro Pool is a magical experience, which all our cold water swimmers enjoy. The water temperature ranges from 1 - 24 degrees, depending on the weather. For obvious reasons, the pool is not open for any dogs!! We do have a small sofa bed for special requests. The space We bought Burrington because of its location. We are situated down a very quiet lane surrounded by fields with a view of Tockenham wood, which has Tockenham Lake within it. You could hardly believe we're only 2 miles from Royal Wootton Bassett and therefore have easy access to the M4 - which makes Heron's Nest an easy to get to retreat!! Guest access There are plenty of wonderful things to experience whilst staying at Heron's Nest. Bath, Oxford, Cirencester, Marlborough, Bristol, Castle Combe and the Cotswolds are all within an hours drive. Stonehenge and Avebury and the Wiltshire White Horses are also well worth a visit and again a short drive away. Do bring your walking shoes as we have some stunning walks in Wiltshire with some fabulous pubs to finish of at!!. Other things to note THE NDORO POOL: The Ndoro Pool, is a non heated, non chemical pool, therefore, completely natural. The perfect cold water immersion for all those natural water babies out there. As you can see from the photos the pool is a very relaxing, tranquil place to take a dip. Being natural, means that sometimes the biodiversity of the pool can require maintenance, although closure is rare, it can happen. Therefore, it is only fair to let you know that sometimes we have to close the pool, to restore it to its 'natural normal'. Change over days are Mondays and Fridays. Enabling a 3 night weekend break, or a 4 night week break or a week at a time - Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday.
