There is an hourly bus service from our front gate, but a car is recommended. DISCLAIMER: As you can see from the pictures and video clip, our ‘maison secondaire’ is a rustic, characterful mas provençal, not a modern, minimalist ‘villa californienne’, nor is it in immaculate condition. It is nevertheless comfortable, equipped with all the comforts of home: eg modern Siemens/ Bosch appliances including circutherm oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee maker, etc Our villa is a haven of peace and tranquility - a hideaway from the hurly-burly of modern urban life - somewhere to relax, detox, unwind and commune with nature. It is surrounded by dense forest so please expect to encounter the occasional ant, beetle, frog, lizard, earthworm, etc, So if you are seeking spotless modernity and functional convenience then please book a room at Ibis or Novotel! There is no wifi available at present. There are no children allowed on our roof terrace because it has no balustrade (the access ladder is designed to make it difficult for them to climb on to the terrace). Our guardian lives next door (for security reasons) in a separate section of the house, with its own entrance, garden, parking, etc. He will assist if you have any questions/ concerns, otherwise you will probably never see him. Strict no-smoking. Well behaved, house trained pets are welcome, subject to host’s prior approval.
