Nestled in the Pure Michigan woods, Trail's End Guesthouse is at the "end of the trail" overlooking a peaceful country garden. Perfect for a couples get-a-way or celebrate a special occasion. Rustic winter themed cabin style retreat with an open floor plan. Two levels include a spacious loft bedroom, main floor kitchenette, and a cozy sitting room. Private backyard space with fire pit, picnic table, and camp chairs. (Yes, firewood is included!) Pets Not allowed. The space As soon as you enter Winding Trail, you know it will be a peaceful spot. Folks meander through the garden, take photos, and relax while listening & watching the birds. The Guesthouse has everything you will need to stay for a weekend or a month. Two levels include a spacious loft with queen sized bed, main floor kitchenette with all the amenities to cook on site, and a cozy sitting room with a full-sized sleeper sofa, smart TV, DVD's, books, and a few games. Enjoy your own campfire, roast marshmallows, and watch the stars. The Guesthouse is filled with special little touches for you to enjoy including a sample of our homemade maple syrup, honey straws, and a pancake mix. Complete your breakfast by gathering your own fresh eggs! Trail's End Guesthouse is sure to be your next 5 star retreat! Guest access Winding Trail is a private gravel road with lots of hills and curves. There is a long driveway that passes the main house. Ample parking for a couple of vehicles, toy hauler, boat trailer, bikes, and snowmobiles. Be sure to drive slow on Winding Trail for the safety of kids and pets along the way. NOTE: AWD or 4WD vehicles are strongly suggested for winter travel. Other things to note The Guesthouse is "semi-unplugged" meaning that there is not satellite, cable, or a TV antenna. Wifi is available, but sometimes it's limited on speed for our neck of the woods. Trail's End Guesthouse sits in the shade of trees. There is ceiling fans on each level and a powerful portable fan in the bedroom for noise & air circulation in addition to heat & AC. A gas wall furnace heats the lower level.
