Old half-timbered house at Diebesturm (air-conditioned)

Our small half-timbered house is located in a quiet yet central location of the spa town of Bad Sooden - Allendorf (Allendorf district). Walking distance to Werra, to the bike path and to the hiking trails at the "Grünen Band". Our accommodation is good for couples, families (with child) and furry friends (pets). Hikers, mountain bikers and canoeers will find all the worthwhile hiking destinations right outside the front door. The space There are 3 floors in the house. The house is air-conditioned. At ground level you will find a fully equipped fitted kitchen, with additional freezer and a fridge with icebox, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, steamer, food processor, pads and also capsule machine are also available. A dining table for two to three people is also in the kitchen. The ceiling height in the kitchen fluctuates. In some places it is about 195 cm, otherwise 200 cm. You can get into the kitchen through a small wind trap. It should be noted that this is an almost 300 year old house here, even if it has been modernized, it inevitably puts you in the living conditions of past centuries. In the back part of the ground floor you will find the living room, which has been expanded in a winter garden-like winter garden (glass roof and underfloor heating) with access to the covered outdoor seating. In the living room there is a flat screen TV (52 inch) with a Dolby surround system. You can also use streaming services (Netflix, Amazon prime) and other PayTV offers. A DVD and Blue-Ray player is of course also connected. Furthermore, you will find a guest toilet on the ground floor, which also houses the washing machine. A staircase leads up to the top. On the gallery is a sofa which invites you to read and rest. You will also find a desk with a 27 inch monitor and an HDMI cable ready for a mobile computer. On the other side of the gallery is the master bedroom with a very comfortable box spring bed (180x200). The room is also equipped with a TV (32 inches) and satellite reception. In the attic is the children's room with two beds (90x200) as well as the bathroom with toilet, large washbasin, bathtub and shower facilities. The house is absolutely allergic friendly! The windows in the bedrooms, the kitchen and the gallery are equipped with fly screens. Guest access They have a carport - parking space on the other side of the house, so right across the street. The outdoor terrace is partly covered and invisible. Outdoor furniture can also be found here. The outdoor terrace can only be reached from the inside of the house and is limited by other (backyard building). The half-timbered house is in a row with other half-timbered houses. On one side, however, there is only one garage driveway. Other things to note Please note that this is a timber-framed house that is over 250 years old, although it has been modernised and restored. Nevertheless, there are rooms in the house whose ceiling height is not higher than 190 cm. The house is located within the city wall on the immediate vicinity of the city center. Baker, butcher, pharmacy, supermarket, etc. are within walking distance in a few minutes. A car is not needed. Even the playground is only 50m away and the wonderfully located swimming pool overlooking the Werratal can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Free internet (100 Mbps) is also available throughout the house. Dogs are welcome. Welcome. No additional costs will be charged for your additional family member. However, this does not apply to the tourist tax, which must be shown separately. Another special feature is that you will find both drinks and food. We have usually provided drinks (water, wine and beer and coffee) for you when you arrive. Drinks will be delivered at cost price, without charges. Upon departure, simply deposit the corresponding amount that you believe is appropriate. There is a price list for the wine selection. The wines are directly occupied by the Pauser winery from Rheinhessen. If you like the wine, you can also move into it by the wine specialist Glorius on the opposite side of the street.
