Old half-timbered house at Diebesturm (air-conditioned)

Our small half-timbered house is in a quiet yet central location in the spa town of Bad Sooden - Allendorf (district of Allendorf). Within walking distance to the Werra, the bike path and the hiking trails on the "Green Belt". Our place is good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Hikers, mountain bikers and canoeists will find all worthwhile hiking destinations right outside the front door. The space There are three floors in the house. The house is air-conditioned. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped fitted kitchen, with additional freezer and a fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, steamer, food processor, pads and also capsule machine are also available. A dining table for two to three people is also in the kitchen. The ceiling height in the kitchen varies. In some places it is about 195 cm, otherwise 200 cm. You enter the kitchen through a small vestibule. It should be borne in mind that this is a nearly 300-year-old house, even if it has been modernized, it inevitably puts you in the living conditions of past centuries. In the back of the ground floor you will find the living room, which has been extended like a conservatory (glass roof and underfloor heating) with access to the covered outdoor seating. In the living room is a flat-screen TV (52 inch) with a Dolby surround system. Furthermore, streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime) and other offers of PayTV can be used here. A DVD and Blue-Ray player is of course also connected. You will also find a guest toilet on the ground floor, which also houses the washing machine. A staircase leads to the upper floor. On the gallery there is a sofa which invites you to read and relax. You will also find a desk with a 27-inch monitor and an HDMI cable ready for connection to a mobile computer. On the other side of the gallery is the master bedroom with a very comfortable box spring bed (180 x 200). The room is also equipped with a TV (32 inches) and satellite reception. In the attic is the children's room with two beds (90 x 200) as well as the bathroom with toilet, large washbasin, bathtub and shower. The house is absolutely allergy-friendly! The windows in the bedrooms, kitchen and loft are equipped with fly screens. Guest access You have a carport parking space on the other side of the house, so right across the street. The outside terrace is partly covered and not visible. Garden furniture can also be found here. The outside terrace is only accessible from the inside of the house and is bordered by other (backyard buildings). The half-timbered house is in a row with other half-timbered houses. On one side, however, there is only one garage entrance. Other things to note Please note that this is a 250-year-old half-timbered house, although modernized and restored. Nevertheless, there are rooms in the house whose ceiling height is not higher than 190 cm. The house is located within the city walls in the immediate vicinity of the city center. Bakery, butcher, pharmacy, supermarket, etc. are within walking distance in a few minutes. A car is not needed. Even the playground is only 50 m away and the wonderfully located swimming pool overlooking the Werra Valley is 10 minutes by foot. Free Internet (100 Mbit) is also available throughout the house. Dogs are welcome. There is no additional cost for your additional family member. However, this does not apply to the visitor's tax, which must be shown separately. Another special feature is that you will find both drinks and food. We usually provide drinks (water, wine and beer and coffee) for you upon arrival. The drinks are sold at cost price without surcharges. Simply deposit the appropriate amount you believe is appropriate upon departure. A price list is available for the wine selection. The wines are sourced directly from the Pauser winery in Rheinhessen. If you like the wine, you can also get it from the wine specialist Glorius on the opposite side of the street.
