The mini house is located on “Largo Rupe” one of the most beautiful terraces overlooking the sea in Fiumefreddo Bruzio. Here is "The Medallion of Fortune" by the great master Salvatore Fiume, which depicts the blindfolded goddess. That's why I decided to name the house “Il Nido della Fortuna” (The Nest of Fortune). The space Although small in size (23 sqm total), Il Nido della Fortuna has all the comforts: on the first floor is the kitchen with a stove top, sink, mini fridge, and dish rack. On the ground floor is the bedroom with an antique French-style double bed (190x140) that was hand-painted by a great artist from Fiumefreddo. The bathroom is equipped with all amenities and is made with Vietri ceramics that recall the colorful majolica tiles that were used in the past. The Nido della Fortuna has five windows, including one with an exclusive sea view from which to admire beautiful sunsets. It has two entrances and also has a ladder inside that connects the two floors. The doors were made like those of the past with the characteristic window openings on which we applied real vintage locks and keys. For the interior floors, we recovered wonderful cement tiles dating back to the last century. Finally, the Nido della Fortuna has a wonderful private terrace (located on the public square "Largo Rupe") on which a seat has been placed that in Fiumefreddo we call a "chiatra" carved by my father from a slab of Fiumefreddo tuff stone. As you can see, the exterior has been kept as it was, apart from some strictly necessary interventions, so as not to alter the authentic style of the village. The Nido della Fortuna has been renovated trying to follow the typical style of the village. We have been attentive to every detail, the result of our love for this mini-house and the love that my father put into renovating and creating real works of masonry art. Finally, we have tried to maintain this style also for the dishes, strictly in earthenware and copper cookware, we also equip the house with bed, bathroom and kitchen linens. All you have to do is come and spend unique moments, thanks to the dream location and also thanks to the small size of the house that make the couple's stay intimate and welcoming. Guest access Guests have the entire house to themselves and can take advantage of everything inside. Guests will be the only ones with access to the house. I will only enter the house every 3 days * to change sheets and towels, after a "green light" message to fully respect the privacy of the guests. In addition, the house is always stocked with breakfast food (toast, jam, Nutella, and various snacks) and beverages (UHT milk, coffee, tea, fruit juices) and sugar. Guests will prepare and serve everything themselves. Guests of the B&B “Il Nido della Fortuna” also have the advantage of being able to prepare lunch and dinner, and will always have salt, pepper, and 100% extra virgin olive oil available. The house always has a personal care kit: shampoo and shower gel. All free, with no extra fees. * PLEASE NOTE: If the linen change falls on 3+1 days, it will not be carried out for just one day. Example: if the stay is 4 days, the linen change for just one more day will not be made. The same applies if the stay is 7 days, only one change will be made (3+4). Other things to note TO REACH THE BEACH The mini-house is located in the village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio, which stands on a hill 230 meters above sea level. So to reach the sea it is advisable to use a car (you can reach the beach in just 7 minutes by car). Reaching the sea on foot is easy only for the most athletic guests (it takes about 35 minutes), using both the provincial road and the Ancient Fishermen's Road.
