Beautiful new cabin in the wilderness! The cabin is one of 2 which are located next to the banks of the river þjórsá just 26km from the town selfoss and 16km from stokkseyri. With birds, seals and wildlife in abundance in unspoiled surroundings. There are breathtaking views of mountains, volcanos, glaciers and gentle walks along the banks of the river. Its an amazingly peaceful area to spend some time relaxing, but all while being an excellent location for hitting the sites of South Iceland The space Its a newly built cosy summer cabin set in stunning surroundings with views out onto the river including mountains, volcanoes and glaciers. it consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other room with bunkbeds. It has a small yet perfectly functioning, living, dinning and kitchen area. As mentioned we are ideally situated to visit many of the wonderful sites Iceland has to offer. Guest access there is plenty space to have a walk around and enjoy down at the cabin, with a lovely walk by the side of the river and its surroundings. we also offer on the next door farm "Arabaer" all guests the opportunity to come and have a look around the horse farm and see the animals.
