The space Our luxurious lodge is privately located and right next to our reindeer grazing paddocks, as well as our Christmas tree plantations; creating a unique visitor experience. We are The Cotswold Reindeer Herd, one of the largest reindeer herds in the UK. It doesn't get any more exclusive than that. The Lodge is perfect accommodation for a romantic break for a couple, or 2+2 family, and features a luxurious king size 4 poster bed and a double sofa bed in the same room. There is room for a cot if you wish to bring one. The lodge is fully insulated and double glazed for year-round cosiness, with electric heating, and a wood burning stove with a starter pack of logs provided. There is a fully equipped bathroom with a large shower, and heated towel rail. The well-appointed kitchenette has a fridge, combination microwave, toaster and kettle. Bi-fold doors open up the living area onto the decking, providing a substantial area to relax and enjoy the view over our tree plantations, or to watch the reindeer play. All essential crockery and cutlery is provided. Mains electricity, linen, towels and tableware are provided. Our unique welcome pack contains complimentary tea, coffee, milk and a bottle of wine, as well as two postcards. AND our guests are also offered a free tour of our reindeer herd whilst they are with us. There is private parking for 1 car alongside the lodge, or further parking 75 meters away. There is a 13A outside socket, which can be used to charge electric cars via a “granny connection” (not supplied). 2-night minimum stay is required. As this is a working smallholding staff may pass the lodge occasionally but will be mindful of not disturbing the guests. No pets allowed, due to reindeer on site. It is a non-smoking or vaping site. Failure to observe this rule will result in the levy of an additional cleaning charge if evidence is found, and guests will be asked to leave if they are seen smoking or vaping. Visitors between 23 November - 5 January Please note: Our site will be open to the public. During this time the guest experience will be slightly different, in that: 1. During our closed hours there will be more movement of our staff about the premises, but this will be kept as discrete as possible. 2. Whilst provisions will be made to allow guests vehicles right beside the lodge to load/unload during arrival and departure, for the rest of the time guests vehicles must be parked in our main car park, approximately 30 metres away. This is for site safety reasons. 3.
