Cahore Coach House is situated in the grounds of Cahore Castle at Cahore Point in County Wexford. The castle grounds extend right to the edge of the sea with just a 5 minute walk to one of Ireland's most beautiful and longest beaches. With room for ten people it's the perfect place for a family get together. Unfortunately, the Coachhouse is not suitable for large groups of adults. The space Our accommodation comprises of 4 bedrooms (two double en-suite), another double and the 4th bedroom has a double bed a bunk bed (top bunk is only suitable for child under 16 years). There is a large family bathroom, a very large fully equipped kitchen, dining, living room, and a large sun room with its own billiards table. Large glass double doors lead from the sun room to your own private terrace and small private garden. Here why not enjoy the long summer evenings preparing meals with the gas barbecue and relax using the ample patio furniture provided. The castle and grounds are undergoing renovations , so for safety reasons please be aware that guest access is strictly limited to the entrance driveway and the the coach house's private garden and terrace. Access to the beach is through the main gate entrance as there is no direct access to the sea from the coach house itself. Guest access Cahore has the reputation of being one of the driest places in Ireland so if you're not whiling away your time on the lovely sandy beach, why not take a 10 minute stroll along our cliff top walk bordering the castle grounds to Cahore pier, a very popular fishing spot with young and old alike and enjoy spectacular sunset views of Ireland's beautiful east coast along the way. Here you will find Cahore's very popular pub and gourmet restaurant, the Strand Bar and Restaurant. Minimum nights: 4 night minimum all year starting on any day of the week except June and July where the minimum night stay is 7 nights starting on a Saturday.
