Corfe View is a warm, welcoming cottage, centrally located close to Corfe Castle, the charming village square with its selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms and the Swanage Steam Railway. The front door opens into the hall, with stairs to the first floor and a door in to an attractive and cosy sitting room, with comfortable furniture and a feature fireplace with a wood burner. Doors lead into a spacious Kitchen/Diner which has a selection of units, electric fan oven with fitted microwave above, halogen hob and an extending dining table and chairs. This is a particularly light room with windows overlooking the rear garden and Velux windows giving ample natural light. Off the kitchen is a utility area with a fridge/freezer and washing machine and adjacent to the utility area is a bathroom with a bath with overhead shower, W.C. and wash hand basin. Off the kitchen is a lobby area, with ample storage space for coats and shoes and giving access to the rear garden. Upstairs, the delightful main bedroom has a king size bed and fitted wardrobes, bedroom 2 has two 3’ single beds and overlooks the rear garden and bedroom 3 is a pleasant smaller double room. There is a Shower Room with shower cubicle, W.C. and wash hand basin. From the first floor landing, a spiral staircase with wide timber treads, leads up to the second floor, where there is a lovely spacious fourth bedroom which has a king size bed, made up of two 2’6 single beds which can be unzipped to form a twin bedded room. Velux windows offer lovely views towards the Castle. There is an adjoining W.C. and wash basin. The front garden is enclosed with a Purbeck stone wall and has mature shrubs. The enclosed rear garden has mature shrubs and has garden furniture, providing a perfect spot to relax after a busy day exploring. A path and lawn area lead to a gate, through which there is a paved area with parking for 2 cars. Corfe View is a well equipped cottage, with all you need for an enjoyable holiday. There are numerous walks from the doorstep and it is a short drive to some of the best beaches and nearby attractions and provides an ideal base from which to explore the stunning Purbeck area.
