A comfortable room with use of the whole house.Living areas for sole use of guests.Hosts live in a separate loft space.Relax and unwind in a quiet location, London 35 minute train journey away . The Grand Union Canal is a short walk with an English 18th Century canal side pub Many attractions nearby, including Bletchley Park WW2 code breaking centre, Woburn Safari park and three golf courses., Whipsnade zoo,Waddesdon Manor ,Rushmere country park to name a few. The space Birdsong is a large family home with a unique style & character. To the front the property is approached by a 150 yard gravel drive, with space for 5 cars, lined with a small orchard, many fruit trees, glorious oaks, camellia and hydrangea. The rear of the property allows private access to mature Knolls Wood. Woodland views are enjoyed from inside the house by a large tastefully designed conservatory bringing the outside inside. The house has five bedrooms. All are available to guests. The downstairs area is large open plan and could comfortably fit 2-8 house guests.I am a qualified Reiki Master and quantum touch therapist and invite you to have a relaxing session of therapy ( I only ask for a small donation to the cystic fibrosis trust charity for this service) Guest access Guests have access to all elements of the house including kitchen, garden and their own private rooms. We would like all our guests to feel they are at home away from home. We offer a continental breakfast. A fully cooked English breakfast is available upon request. During your stay The family live in the house and will be available most of the time during guests' visits. We have a travel cot & high chair. We also have various board games and childrens toys. Other things to note We are within a short walk of Leighton Buzzard Golf Club. Excellent food & excellent golf. We are on the doorstep of the 'Greensand Ridge Walk' This a premier footpath through the historic Bedfordshire landscape which takes walkers or cyclists to Woburn Park and Abbey. The Abbey houses perhaps the greatest Canaletto exhibition in England amongst many other wonderful treasures. The famous safari park & one of the top 5 golf courses in England can also be found close by. The Grand Union Canal is within walking distance of the property. Whipsnade zoo, several National Trust properties & Silverstone for Formula 1 Race Track. Bletchley Park the World War ll secret code and cypher centre is only a few miles away.
