Single-storey stone cottage in the idyllic Peak District with breathtaking views over the Manifold Valley. Ideal base for walking or simple relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Traditional village pub 5 minutes walk and perfectly situated for the many attractions of the Peak District or Alton Towers. Dovedale is commonly booked alongside our other two other cottages, Manifold and Thor’s to accommodate larger groups. Please see the listing for all three together for more information re groups. The space This single-storey, detached cottage is very well-equipped, accessible and set in beautiful gardens with its own outside seating area. The cottage has super fast broadband, smart tv with Netflix and Alexa. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge (with freezer compartment), toast, kettle and nespresso coffee machine. The main bedroom has a dounle bed and the second bedroom has a small single bed*. The cottages have their own parking space and their own sitting area outside the front of the property. *Please note that the second bed is small and is only recommended for people 5ft 10 and under. We have a total of three holiday cottages providing cosy, clean and comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 12 people. Each cottage is fully equipped with an open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The bathrooms have a full size bath with a shower over the bath. Immediately outside each cottage is a seating area to enjoy the views over the Manifold valley. There is a shared utility room with a washing machine, and a tumble dryer. We have a play barn containing a table tennis table, pool table, seating area and a wide selection of toys and games. Outside there is a patio and a large lawn space - great for children and those looking for a private setting. We have ample off road parking. Guest access Guests also have the use of our heated play barn which has table tennis, pool table and lots of toys and games for younger children. Other things to note We have a variety of equipment for babies and toddlers - travel cot (which we provide with a foam mattress and fitted sheets) stair gates, baby bath, potty, change mat, step, high chair and a bed guard.
