Located near Monsac, an authentic French village, this is the perfect base for all the beauty that the Dordogne region offers. We called the house “Villa Padam”. It is legitimate to have a villa to relax! The space The house has all the comforts: cozy living/dining room, very well equipped kitchen, bathroom with massage shower and lovely beds in the bedrooms. Not to mention the private pool, open from the end of April until the beginning of October! In spring and autumn, it is often pleasantly soft and warm. The cozy, medieval town of Bergerac with the vineyards around it. Also easily accessible is the historic town of Sarlat, as well as the beautiful Beynac. The many impressive castles, beautiful gardens and famous caves are definitely worth a visit. The caves of Lascaux with the world-famous cave drawings are not to be missed. In short, for young and old there is always a lot to experience in this region! The river Dordogne is a 10 min drive from the villa. Hire a canoe to descend and enjoy the area around the beautiful river from the water. An experience! Guest access The accessibility of the house is good. From the Netherlands, the villa can be reached in one day by car. For example, the distance from Breda is 974 km. Also with the plane you can get there easily. Bergerac Airport is a short distance away, and can be reached in 20 minutes by car. There are multiple flights per week from Rotterdam Airport to Bergerac v.v. with an hourly flight time.
