In and around this lovely detached vacation home, you can immediately enjoy the great peace and space. Located near Monsac, an authentic French village, this is the perfect base for all the beauty that the Dordogne region has to offer. We have named the house "Villa Padam". It is truly a villa to relax in! The space The house has all the comforts: cozy living/dining room, very well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with massage shower and lovely beds in the bedrooms. Not to mention the private swimming pool, open from the end of April until the beginning of October! In spring and autumn, it is often pleasantly mild and warm. So that's enjoying the large garden with lots of privacy. From that garden, you can walk into nature with hiking trails along the most beautiful places in the area. Villa Padam is located in the heart of the Dordogne region, on the outskirts of Monsac, an authentic small village. In surrounding villages such as Beaumont and Lalinde, you will find supermarkets, bakeries, other shops and restaurants. Cozy markets are available daily in various villages, with all kinds of fresh local products. The villa is a great base from which to visit all the beautiful places and activities in this region. The cozy, medieval town of Bergerac with the vineyards around it. Also easily accessible is the historic town of Sarlat, as well as the beautiful Beynac. The many impressive castles, beautiful gardens and famous caves are well worth a visit. The caves of Lascaux with the world-famous cave drawings are not to be missed. In short, for young and old, there is always a lot to experience in this region! The Dordogne River is a 10-minute drive from the villa. Rent a canoe to lower yourself downstream and enjoy the surroundings of the beautiful river from the water. An experience! Guest access The accessibility of the house is good. From the Netherlands, the villa can be reached in a day's drive by car. The distance from Breda, for example, is 974 km. You can also get there easily by plane. Bergerac Airport is a short distance away, it can be reached in 20 minutes by car. There are several flights per week from Rotterdam Airport to Bergerac v.v. with a flight time of one hour.
