Modern and cozy house in the heart of nature

Escape to Veranda, a modern, off-grid eco-retreat on the slopes of Fruška Gora with breathtaking Danube river views. Located on the EuroVelo 6 route near Šarengrad's wine country, this serene home blends minimalist design with nature. Relax on custom Slavonian oak furniture, sleep in pure linen bedding, and sip local wine on the spacious veranda. Guests are invited to harvest fresh fruits and organic vegetables directly from our eco-garden. The perfect sanctuary to unplug and unwind! The space The house called Veranda (porch) is located 2 minutes away from the enterance of Šarengrad (on the way from Vukovar to Ilok, on Eurovelo route 6), surounded by wineyards. The house is very modern and decorated with wooden furniture (Slavonian oak), made by a local carpenter. Our vision of life is to live with nature and to respect it. On the property there is a generator which servers as a power supply (instead of an electrical network). On the first floor there is a bathroom, kitchen with a living room and the terace with the view on Danube. Climbing up the wooden stairs you will reach the first floor with the second bathroom and a spacious bedroom that has one master bed and a guest bed. This room has a magical view on the island, nature, and the river. All the furniture is wooden and the bedding is pure linen. We have lots of fruit trees and vine grapes, which you can freely pick up from. In our eco-garden we are producing all kinds of vegetables.
